Welcome to the National Auto Racing Association!
Sign-ups are ongoing for the Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Re/Max series. This should be an extremely fun dynasty league.
The NARA Cup Series is the Sprint Cup equivalent, Nationwide is self explanatory and the Re/Max series is ARCA equivalent.
Owners can have 2 drivers in the Cup Series, and 2 in each the Nationwide and Re/Max.
Drivers would all have their own ratings system. Each season drivers would gain a set amount of new 'experience' points that will increase their overall ratings. This ratings increase would be automatic based on drivers age. Drivers would also be able to gain bonus points based on performance in all three series, wins, top fives, top tens and final standings position. Once drivers reach age 35 they would begin to lose a set amount of points each season based on overall age. The decrease will be lower at first and then pick up as they age more. Younger drivers from lower divisions would move up the ranks of the three series whenever their owner wished to move them up. You could keep your driver in the lower series for a few seasons to gain valuable experience points and be very competitive once they reach the Cup series or owners could throw them into the big series whenever they wish. They may struggle early on but drivers will gain more points the higher the series they are in. Drivers can move between the series as the owners wish.
Here is a breakdown of the driver and car ratings. It lists a breakdown of how a drivers age and performance affect their overall ratings. National Auto Racing Association (NARA) - NR2003 Offline League
Six drivers will be the maximum an owner can have at a given time. Two in each series. Drivers can be retired or released and new drivers signed at any time. Drivers who are released and are younger than 35 will be free agents and any owner can sign one of them. If they are over age 35 they will be retired.
If anyone is interested please respond to this post, a website for the series is almost completed. I feel this would be a fun dynasty type series.
Races would be run every 2 to 3 days. Seasons will last about 15 races. Race highlight films will be posted for every race.
We will be using the Bullring Cup mod and PWF Nationwide Mod.
You can use cars that you have painted yourself or pre-made cars. I would like to stay away from actual Cup or Nationwide cars though. Please provide me with a car you plan to use, it must work for the Bullring Mod or PWF Nationwide mod. If you do not have a car you can give me a possible number or sponsor you would like and I can find a car for you. I do not paint cars though so I would be finding a car that has been already made. Most COY cars will work for the Re/Max series.
Here is what I will need from everyone to start.
Owners Name:
Team Name:
Drivers Name:
Car #:
Sponsor:
Drivers Age:
Series Wanted (Cup/Nationwide/Re/Max):
Drivers can be as young as 16 or as old you want. Every driver will get points for their ratings based on their age. The younger the driver the lower the amount of points they get, the older they are the more points you get until you reach 35. Also, keep in mind, at age 35 drivers will start losing points for their overall ratings every season.
